"We are fighting war for survival of the province and the state, and terrorists will not undermine our determination by resorting such weaken attempts, he said while addressing at a condolence reference for slain ANP leader, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour here at Bacha Khan Markaz on Thursday. On the occasion, ANP senator Haji Mohmamd Adeel, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, ANP provincial leaders, activists and workers were present.
Khattak said that the Taliban had placed their flag by removing the national flag in the war-stricken region. But, he claimed the ANP had put off Taliban emblem by re-installing national flag. "ANP is a peaceful political party, and believe on philosophy of non-violence", he maintained.
Senator Haji Adeel while speaking on the occasion said that the vaccuum was created after death of ANP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour will take long to fill it. "Our leaders and workers sacrifices will eliminate terrorism on the Pakhtun's soil, he claimed. He called that the drone attacks must be ended. He added that the day was not for mourning over the death of slain ANP leader, but it was to promise own-self to complete the mission of Bashir Bilour.
"I salute to slain ANP leader, Bashir Bilour for his courage and bravery, who stood firm against the terrorists and not bowed before them, said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information, Mian Iftikhar Hussain while addressing on the occasion. He said ANP history is filled with sacrifices, and known as martyred party. He said the elections will be held as per schedule in the country, and present government will complete its constitutional period.
He said the Bashir Bilour blood will not go vain, and complete peace would be established after sacrifices of our leaders and workers. He (Bilour), was a brave leader, who stood on his stance till last his breath, but not bow before the terrorists, Mian Iftikhar added. On the occasion, the Special Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Haroon Bilour and son of Bashir Bilour said that the death of his father will not undermine the ANP party mission for establishment of peace and stability on Pakhtun's soil.
